  • Immersive Visit to Famille Michaud: François and Camille at the Heart of Apicultural Expertise

As part of strengthening commercial ties and sharing know-how, François and Camille from SOFRADIS recently visited Famille Michaud, a key player in honey and apicultural products in France. It was a full immersion into the world of this century-old family business, combining tradition, innovation, and passion. Exploring the Production Facilities The visit began with a comprehensive tour of Famille Michaud’s production sites. François and Camille had the opportunity to observe the high level of technology and automation implemented to ensure impeccable product quality. From strict raw material control to final bottling, each step demonstrated a strong commitment to traceability, food safety, and sustainability. Commercial and Sales Administration Meetings This trip also provided an opportunity to hold several strategic commercial meetings. Discussions with the sales and sales administration (ADV) teams helped refine the synergies between SOFRADIS and Famille Michaud, anticipate future logistics needs, and strengthen commercial forecasts. The meetings were marked by a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere, laying the foundation for new shared development opportunities. Hive Visit: A Dive into the World of Beekeeping A highlight of the day was the visit to the hives. Accompanied by a passionate beekeeper, Nicolas, François and Camille discovered the fascinating organization of a bee colony, the floral diversity behind various honey varieties, and the current challenges of biodiversity preservation. This enriching experience provided tangible insight into the added value of upstream work in the production chain. A Flavorful Tasting Experience The day concluded with a tasting session featuring a range of exceptional honeys—from classic floral varieties to rarer French PGI-labeled products (such as Lavender Honey from Provence). This was a perfect opportunity for our team to deepen their product knowledge and better appreciate the sensory richness offered by Famille Michaud. A Partnership Built on Trust and a Taste for Excellence This visit represents an important milestone in the partnership between SOFRADIS and Famille Michaud—two companies that share the same core values: high standards, passion for product quality, and a commitment to healthy, authentic food. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Famille Michaud team for their warm welcome and openness. At SOFRADIS, we are proud to collaborate with such dedicated and visionary producers.
